What are your office hours?
The Dalles Chronicle office is open 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.
What is the publication schedule?
THE DALLES CHRONICLE is a daily newspaper published evenings, Tuesday through Friday, and Sunday Mornings by Eagle Newspapers, Inc., reaching more than 15,000 Mid-Columbia readers daily. The Chronicle is not published Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving, July 4, Labor Day, or Memorial Day.
How do I subscribe?
You can subscribe to The Dalles Chronicle by calling 541-296-2141, or go to our Subscriptions page and fill out a subscription form. At this time we do not take payments over the internet. Let us know a convenient time to contact you and we'll call you to make payment arrangements. Our rates can be found on the Subscriptions page .
How do I purchase a copy of The Dalles Chronicle?

Complete copies of The Dalles Chronicle are currently available through newsstands or by subscription. The top three news stories of each day are published online in our Local News archives at www.thedalleschronicle.com.

If you would like a physical copy (hard copy) of a specific issue of The Dalles Chronicle printed during this last year, you can call our front desk at 541-296-2141 and request it to be mailed to you, for the cost of the paper (75 cents), plus $3.00 shipping and handling. Sunday papers may be more for shipping, depending on the number of advertising inserts, which raise the cost of postage. Be sure to let the receptionist know which publication date you seek.

For newspapers published beyond one year of today’s date, you can contact the Wasco County Public Library at 722 Court Street, The Dalles Oregon, 97058, telephone 541-296-2815. They keep microfilm records of past issues of The Dalles Chronicle newspapers, beginning in the later months of 1864. (Note: the library is missing a large number of issues from the 1880's.) The friendly staff will do what they can to help you. Please keep in mind that hunting through the printed archives or microfilm records is very time consuming. It helps a great deal if you have a specific publication date in mind.

All requests for republication of The Dalles Chronicle material must be in writing, clearly stating the purpose and manner in which the copy will be used. Send your request to the attention of our Editor. All republished material must carry The Dalles Chronicle credit. Unless specifically noted otherwise, all permission is given for one-time use only. No political candidate, political party, political action committee, polemical organization, or any group formed for partisan purpose may use The Dalles Chronicle copy in any publication. The Dalles Chronicle uses materials from contributed and subscription sources, and is unable to authorize their republication.

Our primary circulation covers subscriber and non-subscriber households in Wasco and Sherman Counties in Oregon. We also deliver to Klickitat county in Washington. Subscribers receive a daily copy of The Dalles Chronicle, and non-subscriber households receive a weekly free copy of The Reminder TMC.

THE REMINDER TMC edition is a Total Market Package which is carrier-delivered, rack and address-mailed to all non-subscribers of The Dalles Chronicle in Wasco & Sherman, counties in Oregon and Klickitat County in Washington. Published every Tuesday. THE REMINDER (TUESDAY TMC) Covers 10,200 non-subscriber homes in Wasco & Sherman counties in Oregon and Klickitat county in Washington. All classified ads in Tuesday’s Chronicle are repeated in the Reminder.

GORGE WIDE COVERAGE
GORGE CLASSIFIEDS is a regional classified section and is delivered as part of the Sunday Chronicle and Saturday Hood River News.
